Under the paradigm of education for global justice, the XAJI network crosses borders.
We weave together communities based on dialogue with an experiential methodology and linked to the local context. This allows us to have a more accurate view of our environment and connect with a global dimension.
We are committed to implementing socio-educational proposals in a territorial context, adapted to people and territories, transforming ourselves into a diverse dimension with collective realities.
In Porto, Portugal…
90 young people from 5 schools at Vila Nova de Gaia, Porto. In 2023, the international network launched for the first time, with the transfer of the XAJI to the Portuguese framework.
40 young people celebrated Human Rights Day with Gaia’s Gabinete de Juventude. We celebrate successes and reflect on what is still to be achieved, conscious that a future is being built and the role of young people is fundamental.

Let’s undo, with historical patience, with just and dignified anger, with collective love, the threads of sexist violence which are so deeply embedded in our histories. The violence that has been naturalised, minimised and justified by patriarchal culture, at the expense of our dignity and our joy. This is why, with joyful rebellion, we assert our right to exist with all our names, with all our colours, with all our knowledge, with all our strength, with all our south.
